Fleck: 43 passes, 38 complete (88.4%)
Lundstram: 42 passes, 38 complete (90.2%)

Obviously, the question arises how many of those were good attacking passes. It’s fair to say that the midfield wasn’t effective today!

Fleck has got of very lightly in terms of criticism, he was absolutely dreadful. Lunny was poor and cost us a goal, but I did see him make a few attacking runs. Fleck on the other hand went missing. Numerous times Osborn picked the ball up on the left and was left completely isolated, waiting for any support to come. He either isn't fit or just isn't willing to push forward. Either way he was utterly awful last night and barring a terrible stray pass, was even worse than lunny.

Unbelievable.

I really can’t watch the goals from this season, but Norwood quite possibly must have more assists and goals for the opposition than he has for us, which is quite an achievement for a supposedly creative midfield player, especially one who takes corners and free kicks.

In fairness to Norwood, that was the only proper tackle that any of our players made in the whole of the match. There were a couple of routine slide tackles, but Norwood's (in the first half) was the only time in 90 minutes that we actually hassled them on the ball. And it worked! That's the saddest thing; Arsenal have traditionally hated coming up to Sheffield for a freezing cold night game. Last night, we just made it so easy for them.
