Apart from being one of the hair bear bunch, McManaman would be a great player in the championship....although has he got some sort of injury or is he passed it? 'cos I haven't heard his name mentioned in the last 2 years!

he was on and off for man city wen he joined em cos he had injury problems i think. wunt mind a look at him in a blades shirt tho.

Nah he's past it in my opinion and would only come to the Lane for money and wouldnt provide much passion and effort.
I'd rather he'd slip through the net and rather sign somebody thats worth the money instead of someone thats looking for a final pay cheque.

Didn't think Shipperley was on a very high wage, Unsworth will no doubt be a high earner, he's a full back which every club in this division wishes they had.

I think he was released by Man City in the summer B4E so we couldn't get him on loan, although i may be wrong.
