Club going into talks to sell Ojama to legia Warsaw and leaving McCall who is on international duty little chance of seeing any funds for new signings.

Gossip at fir park is that McCall is back in the frame for a job with you guys. Worth a punt?

SPL is dead bud, honestly can see him going, I hope he does not but gossip seems to be gathering pace

McCall wont join us now.

Not when we can go for the cheap option Morgan.

lol i thought you meant to buy players?

Jeez us buy players ha ha, we rely on freebies

Our entire squad inc youth cost the club around 1.25m a year and yet we are expecting to make a small six figure loss despite finishing with the most points ever this year and we held that record for last year. Had Europe as well. SPL is dead, don't even have a sponsor for next year

Is the SPL dead or is it just having to cut its cloth accordingly? From what i see there are clubs going to struggle but that's because they overreached themselves. I wish the EPL had the guts to do what the SPL did with Rangers. Showed some real integrity doing the right thing to cheats.

Quality is no doubt an issue but it always has been. I think the SPL will do fine in a few years. Hearts will have got rid of their comic owner and others may go out of business but I think in the main the league will be better for it.

Hearts haven't got rid of their comic owner. Their comic owner has run the club at a massive loss for years and told everyone not to worry, he knows what he's doing and he's minted. Only suddenly to find he's no longer minted and his bank has gone bust and has been liquidated. One of the things he did was transfer ownership of the Pink Bus Shelter to his day business - namely the bank and they face losing it to the Lithuanian Govt as they seek to recover some of their losses.

And they will be one of the clubs that possibly goes the way Rangers did. No loss there then :)

Even if he did leave, that doesn't mean he would come here.

He obviously turned us down for a reason and he would no doubt get other offers fairly quickly.
