It's tempting prospect, but if you do a route on Google Maps it takes you past two pubs and turns left down John Street, stopping roughly in the middle of the John Street Stand.. The Cricketer's is the second, and for the first it's a choice between either the Moorfoot Tavern or Dempsey's. Now, I don't frequent either of those, but I'm told the establishments in question offer either drugs and then the possibility of getting your face smashed in, or drugs then the possibility of getting your back doors smashed in, neither of which truly appeals to me.
Still, it's your choice, although if we see a man looking facially unblemished but sitting down rather carefully we will know which option was taken.
Why don't you try the Scouse way? March from a pub you will be in anyway, to a match you are going to anyway, along a route you will be using anyway?
Will it also be the fault if all those who don't go on this protest march that McCabe is still in charge come the Monday morning? And what is the estimated number of marchers marching? I reckon a big fat zero, including the original poster. Personally speaking I'll be in Scotland at the end of my hollibobs, but I'll have a little protest march on the beach before I watch it on Sky if you like, at great personal risk due to the Isle of Mull midges coming armed with cutlery and a cruet set, the little bastards.
