Anyone interested? A march from town hall to BDTBL - stopping at a few watering holes en route?

A chance to show the country we are proud fans heartbroken with the way in which a disgusting property speculator has destroyed our beloved club?

Well I would but I am washing my hair that day.

It's tempting prospect, but if you do a route on Google Maps it takes you past two pubs and turns left down John Street, stopping roughly in the middle of the John Street Stand.. The Cricketer's is the second, and for the first it's a choice between either the Moorfoot Tavern or Dempsey's. Now, I don't frequent either of those, but I'm told the establishments in question offer either drugs and then the possibility of getting your face smashed in, or drugs then the possibility of getting your back doors smashed in, neither of which truly appeals to me.

Still, it's your choice, although if we see a man looking facially unblemished but sitting down rather carefully we will know which option was taken.

Why don't you try the Scouse way? March from a pub you will be in anyway, to a match you are going to anyway, along a route you will be using anyway?

Will it also be the fault if all those who don't go on this protest march that McCabe is still in charge come the Monday morning? And what is the estimated number of marchers marching? I reckon a big fat zero, including the original poster. Personally speaking I'll be in Scotland at the end of my hollibobs, but I'll have a little protest march on the beach before I watch it on Sky if you like, at great personal risk due to the Isle of Mull midges coming armed with cutlery and a cruet set, the little bastards.

Looks like your medication isn't working today.

Bored of life? Prozac just no longer cutting it for you? Do you yearn for a flicker of enjoyment amongst the turgid misery of your existence? Try trolling! Yes, by making ridiculous comments and waiting for a flood of indignant responses you too may give yourself a sliver of happiness. Trolling.... Because you're worth it.

@Micaljo,

You never joined my "Monty Must Go" hunger strike; neither have you showed any interest in my "Jump out of a window if you want rid of Doyle" campaign.

So, on this occasion "You'll have to walk alone"

:)

Is this your way of saying you're not meeting me in the Bell Jar before the match after all?

Was hoping they'd have some Brooklyn Summer Ale in.

Oh well, see you in Henry's then. I'll shout "Love United" and you can do "Hate McCabe" - have to think of something for the little 'un to shout.....what about "Oppan Gangnam Style"? He likes that (still).

Are you getting the stickers made? Do quite a few and we'll stick one on every Greggs' window on The Moor.

Anyone got Bryn Law's number? SSN are going to love this.

(Mic - drop me a PM and we'll work out the bail out plan in the event of a member of SUFC staff coming within 30 yards of you)

I find it strange to hold a protest on the 85th anniversary of The Wednesday becoming a Sheffield club, as they first used the city name on aug 2nd 1929,
Hard to believe when they moved to owlerton stadium in 1899 it was outside the city boundary , so werent really a sheffield club
Dont forget to remind owls fans its 15 years till they celebrate 100 years as a sheffield club

hillsborough was outside the city boundary in 1890, a nice factoid to lob at the city is ours brigade
