Pissed off because the female is going out tomorrow night, so I can't get to the festival, and Treebeard are playing there ..... any band which does "Ace Of Spades" with mandolins, lutes and a bass balalaika has to be seen ......

You may have seen half of the band as Silverwheel too. Both bands do a really good version of "Matty Groves", which was made famous by Fairport Convention.

I know it's readily available round the country, but a heads up for the next visit ........ the Dove & Rainbow has Hobgoblin on as a regular all through the year, and the music's good too!

Hopefully I might be visiting the Hobgoblin pub (Hobgoblin on all year and live music.) at Angel this evening, on route to Covent Garden where one pub has Old Peculiar on tap .

Very true, I called in before the match but decided not to bother after the game as i wasn't wearing my wellies, decent beer shit venue.
