I declare this Match Reaction open...

Me? I'm concerned. We were the better side throughout whilst never looking like capitalising on that, especially in the second half. There is now a losing mentality in the squad. Can we have a couple of wingers please?

Plus point: Moore looks confident and commands his area well.

I really don't like going to Millwall though.

Seemed an even enough game where a point would be fair. Think we edged the general play but they were a lot better at generating chances and getting people on the end of them. We lacked width, when we did get on the ball, we either tried to chip it in behind them resulting in easy clearing headers for their defenders, couldn't create a thing, or did put in a threatening cross and the attack was AWOL. Final third in general seems pretty clueless in both the games I've seen so far.

encouraged to hear about Moore. From the radio commentary it did at least sound like it was not as bad as the two previous games so maybe a turning point of sorts?

I have massive respect for Keith Edwards the player, and nice guy and all that, but when he turned up in the commentary box second half I couldn't hear what was going on in the game any more and felt a bit excluded from the action.

It was the easiest London game in terms of travelling i've ever had.

Drove straight in on the M11/A13, through Rotherhithe Tunnel and parked just the other side of the train line. Walked under a couple of tunnels and came out right outside the Cold Blow Lane end.

Same leaving, we got back to Sheffield for 8.30, they didn't even keep us in.

My thoughts on the game itself are elsewhere, and whilst we were better we still didn't create any chances and struggled to deal with another big, robust striker at the moments where it really mattered. A lot of work to do, and the players look desperate for that first win even if it's a 1-0 off Leon's arse, but now we're bottom at least the only way is up.

Before the game I went to see the shipwreck the Cutty Sark. Then I went to see the shipwreck that is Sheffield United. At least we were an improvement on Tuesday!

After the Southend game, I thought we were going to get a right hammering at Millwall. Went out yesterday afternoon and was quite surprised when I checked after about 70 mins that we appeared to be good value for 1-1, then in typical Blades fashion we lose to a last minute penalty......... the nightmare continues.

Definite game of two halves, in more ways than one.
