Which would be the equivalent today of the pigs finishing eighth with their budget.

Which teams should we have finished above then? It was a respectable league place considering the square overhaul and amount of loan players we had to rely on making it tricky to gel

All of them, that was his brief and he was given the tools to achieve it. He failed.

So Newcastle West Bromwich Leicester who had significantly more money?

Cardiff and Forest were similar , Swansea and Blackpool were superbly managed and had less injuries
I didn't realise he was only in charge for one season. I'll give you Newcastle. As for the rest, they didn't have significantly more money.

But I spent a lot of time discussing Blackwell yesterday and I'm not really interested in discussing him with you. Just so we're clear, I don't like you.

1) Conor Coady - brilliant
2) Harry Chapman - liked him a lot

3)-100) - Whatever.

Matt Phillips is a notable one, Brayford was excellent whilst on loan. Coady as mentioned was a standout. Andy Reid was good.

I'm sure there are loads more but they are the ones that stick in my memory.

Alrighty, just so we're clear facts don't care about your feelings :)

It was a privilege seeing Toni Kallio in our shirt.

I thought Sam Vokes looked to have great potential and it doesn't surprise me he's gone on to do well.

Andy Reid was quality whilst on loan. We should've signed him, maybe things would've panned out differently...

what the leon knight who was on loan at sheff wed?? cant see any record of him ever being here, but i used a transfer history website, if ive missed any blame them
Your post included Leon Knight, that's why I questioned it.

Lifted the team? Are you serious? He was terrible - looked like he didn't want to be here and like he didn't give a toss. I remember an away match - Bury, possibly - when he took up a position wide right and did nothing all game apart from look bored. As you say, we got relegated that season.

Apart from that, I agree with you.
He was awful in the 2-0 defeat at Blackburn

Rioch and Tibbot signed the same day, does anyone remember a ref getting sparked out, Rioch picking his whistle up, and spinning it round his finger, much to Conroy's amusement?
At Blackburn or their first match (at home to Bristol Rovers)? I missed the Bristol Rovers match

We had a loan lined up but Blackpool came in at the 11th hour and nicked him. He was absolutely pants for them for the remainder of the season by all accounts.
