According to EFL Insider Rumours we have made a 7 figure bid for the 19 year old Doncaster striker.....!

Not playing v Pompey tonight, supposedly injured....never heard of him to be honest....19 years old, scored 7 in 28 appearances.

We are being linked with loads so probably someone just putting 2 and 2 together with the lad being out injured tonight...if we have got 7 figures to spend then I can think of plenty of others to target!

He was mentioned when the window first opened on here somewhere I think. Fairly sure the thread had links to a Donny fan's forum or tweets denying that he would ever consider moving to a bigger club in a higher league.

Can't see us bidding 7 figures though.
 
Wilder attended the Doncaster v Grimsby fixture three weeks ago. I assumed at the time Bogle would be the purpose of his visit, but he didn't play. Mandeville did, he scored the winning goal. He seems highly rated and I wouldn't be surprised if we were interested. But 7 figures? I don't think so.
 
If we're spunking seven figures on a player, I'd hope we'd be looking at one with a bit more pedigree and one who was nailed on Championship calibre.

I mentioned this lad a few weeks ago as a potential target when somebody said that Wilder was spotted going to the Grimsby Vs Donny game in the Omar Bogle thread. If that bit is true then there may be a snowballs chance in hell of some traction in this one...
 

A Donny fan at work raves about this kid almost every week.
haven't seen him myself, can't see much in this rumour (IMO)
 
I have no idea what this kid is like, but I'd pay £5m for that name alone.
