I think I know him, small chap, toothbrush moustache. Always banging on about the trains running on time and annexing the Sudetenland. I knew him as Madolf Titler, but I always suspected that that was a pseudonym.

For the avoidance of doubt, I’m sat reading this thread wearing a poppy on my poppy suit, sat on a bed full of poppies.
Erm, sorry I didn’t read your post pal, I’d have quoted you if I had, and as for you coining the phase ‘Poppy Fascism’ sorry to break it to you but you’re 2-3 years late. The liberal broadsheets like the Guardian started it and the phrase is all over the media, social and mainstream like Twitter.
What I would say having now read your post is that I agree with most of what you say. I’ve worked with British Legion on and off over the years (I’ve got a similar family background to you) and I know that twats making copies for their own profit costs us big. Where I do disagree with you is your last sentence mate. I’ve felt more than ever this year that there’s an equal if not bigger ‘Poppy Fascist’ movement that is trying to belittle and discredit the tradition even at member of parliament level. Just as many out there telling people not to buy one, how long before it becomes offensive? A few days ago the Independent newspaper was openly advocating that we ditch it just as good people had started collecting. You and I both know what a loss that would be unless the gap could be filled.
There is an anti Poppy Fascist moment out there with its own agenda trying to liken poppy wearers to war loving dinosaurs or National Front loving yobs, every bit as bad as the Poppy Fascists you mention who decry people who don’t wear a poppy. Neither are right and neither should be listened to and as I said, I’ll make my own mind up as should EVERYBODY else. That’s what we fought for.
Anyway, back to football eh? I only came on here to post a picture of Clarke in his poppy shirt. UTB
I'm not.I noticed how none of our players were wearing swastika armbands too! Honestly, it's a disgrace. I mean we are all Anglo-Saxons aren't we!? We're all descended from germanic tribes aren't we? we should also be remembering our fallen German brothers forced to fight under the flag of National Socialism. What's gone wrong with the world!?
It's actually an ancient Hindu, Buddhist and Jain symbol of auspiciousness and good luck. Try telling our kid's fucking school that though at Diwali. Two faced pricks.I noticed how none of our players were wearing swastika armbands too! Honestly, it's a disgrace. I mean we are all Anglo-Saxons aren't we!? Ahh yes you’re absolutely right in what you say but every now and again, I find myself harking back to the gentler forum times of the early naughties. To the the days of Radio Sheffield’s own message board, 30 minutes delay on posts as they were all read in advance, 150 word limits, trying to find a way around their profanity filter without alerting a Mod and receiving a ban from the forum or even worse, upsetting McCabe on Bladesunited and getting banned from the club. The only thing I wish to add to this thread is that it is completely unnecessary to mash your keyboards in an approximation of swearing when shit, fuck and indeed, cunt are perfectly good words and readily available for your use. Although you may wish to tone down your use of the latter.
Freedom of speech, innit.
He replaced his missing puppy by making Wednesday and Hull his bitches in the last 2 months.I thought this was a thread about a lost dog.
Should've gone to SpecSavers....
