According to the Star Williamson has to have a back operation for a slipped disc. He'll not be playing for a good while.

I'm not proffessing to be a specialist, but surely it is a condition that can suddenly arise?

I know that it normally arises from an original weakness, but how do they test for that in a medical?

From my understanding, it came about from Malta, not before he joined the Blades.
