I genuinely think we might possibly sign Dean Henderson if we go up. I know, I know, WAGES. But he's already set for life, he might struggle by on 50k p/w basic plus bonuses for us. Got to be nice to play where you're loved. And I'm a romantic.

This is probably assuming money bags Forest sign Navas permanently. I don't know if that's likely.

2 new GKs will be required if Utd manage to get up. I can't see either coming from L2 though. Cooper is a possibility but wouldn't be first choice.

Henderson is a possibility but it would inevitably only be a loan and dependent on Forest deciding to go with Navas instead.

McCarthy would also be a possible if Southampton go down, as would Turner at Arsenal

Even if Wes remains as number one if we do go up this summer will likely be the time when we have the biggest budget we will have for the foreseeable. In that case and given Wes’s age it would be sensible to secure a long term option at the position even if they’re initially brought in as cover/competition for Wes as opposed to a de facto number one. There’s no keeper at the club which should stop us going out and trying to get a good up and coming keeper under contract.

Henderson is a slag for whoever is paying him. He'd play for us for the right wage but there'd be fuck all romantic about it.
