We seem to have a habit of scoring plenty of late goals this season. More than anyone else in the league i think, and the last 15 mins is definitely our most prolific period of matches overall.
By my calculations 8 of our goals this season have been in the last 5 mins or in injury time, and have gained us 8 points (2 wins and 2 draws) or 9 if you count Hendo's 2nd pen against Barnsley. The rest of the goals were either added to an already winning scoreline or made no difference to a losing one. In this division 8/9 points makes a big difference in league position.
Why do you think this is? I tend to think it might be because we have Dean Riddle as our fitness coach, as he was in 02/03 when as i recall we also scored a lot of late goals.
Or maybe we just take ages to get our arses in gear and therefore have more energy at the end of matches.
Incidentally, our worst period for conceding is in the 15 mins after half time.
