Really enjoyed last night, very impressed with DW. Came across very well, knows what he wants to do and appears the board at the moment are well behind him. Think we have a promising season ahead
Can't wait for it to start.

We had the opportunity to talk with both Lee Carsley and David Weir before the event and what came across was the passion, excitement and more than anything professionalism and modern thinking in the pair.

They want to do things the right way, in a way that we'll like to watch.

It's easy to get swept up in the "new approach" and excitement of a change, but I really did get the feeling that if we aren't going to get it right, it won't be for the lack of effort and good theory behind it.

Will post more about what they were keen to get across as I've got more time, but I'm optimistic (not blindly) that we're in good hands.

I thought it was really good too. You can tell how much he knows about the game, what he wants to achieve and how he wants to go about it.

Some of the most interesting things for me came when he was talking about Boyd and Kayara. He realised they were good players but he basically said that he didn't want to bring players in just to add to the numbers, and would rather bring in players of a better quality than what we've already got. He's clearly methodical and, particularly with the way he spoke about Boyd, isn't afraid to be ruthless in his decision making regardless of his connections.

.................she said,
"Oh, baby, I feel so down.
Oh it turns me off,
When I feel left out"

So I walked out
"Oh, baby, don't care no more
I know this for sure,
I'm walkin' out that door"

Sorry, it's a slow day at work.

Thanks for the report back about last night Mr Fox , he seem's to know his mind , and the team certainly seem's to be getting younger , to mold into a certain way of playing maybe ? With all this talk of tactic's were no one on here seem's to agree which system suit's us best maybe we should give the manager a chance to give it a go , and after a couple of games see how it's working. Because he seems to know the players at his disposal , and who know's maybe 4-4-2 , 4-5-1, the diamond or any other system you think united should be playing , he as the manager may know which 1 suits us , and the players best , 100% behind the manager , 100% behibnd united , not so trustworthy of our chairman . Just 1 question though did nobody bring up our {ahem} African investment last night , or was thar redacted
