I was thinking this morning (whilst brushing my teeth, if you must know)... when did we last score a goal in the dying minutes of a league game which meant we secured three points?
Back in my youth, the Blades seemed to go through a period of scraping last minute goals and grabbing the points, particularly at home and usually through Fjortoft. It seemed every time I went to a game, we scored in the dying minutes.
This doesn't seem to happen any more... was our squad fitter 10 years ago? Better strikers? More inclined to go all out for a win? Less fear of conceding?
Can anyone recall the matches I mean or am I making it up and getting puddled in my old age?
