How comes we always concede goals when subs are made. You just know when the team is changed we will concede a goal

McAtee has been bang average for a while
apart from excelling at falling over.
Commentators thought Larouci played very well
and were bemused by his substitution.
we seem a little obsessed with getting McAtee on.

Sometimes the game doesn't demand it.

He's not been amazing in recent outings as was mentioned above.

It wasn't worth leaving a massive gaping hole down the left just to get him into the action.

The defence had actually been coping quite well.

He could have taken off Brereton-Diaz who was having an off day or Hamer who we didn't want to risk losing to a booking.

Total agreement.

Can see why McAtee hasn't been starting for the last few weeks his heart don't look in it.
If he was a boxer he’d be asking his corner to throw the towel in

came back to a fanfare, expecting to be the focal point of a side that stays up and proves to pep he’s worth a berth in Man City team

Reality is we’re shit, he’s been mainly shit, while Foden & Lewis have excelled - he’s actually regressed

Expectation & reality - We’ve both purchased this season from Wish.

Larouci hasn't played much of late, so Wilder probably thought he had to take him off at some stage.

And he was probably keen to get McAtee on. McAtee doesn't seem to be in great form though. Two strikers and a midfield including him and Hamer, may be a bit too attacking.
Good points. Souza for Larouci might have worked better in hindsight... pushing Hamer slightly further on..

We conceded, from a position he had defended pretty well, not long after he went off..

Sorry I didn't realise you are on United's physio staff
It’s common sense and anyone with eyes would be able to see what happened. Also anyone with a brain would be able to work it out.

Laroucci was very good yesterday but he was blowing on 40 minutes. He come out second half and didn’t get his second wind.

He’s not played regular football in weeks which will mean he will play around 45 minutes or 60 at a push. I think he played 58 minutes. Glad this has been discussed and the matter closed.

You're talking crap, mate

He’s a luxury player that doesn’t perform well enough. A top championship player for sure.

Maybe he will develop into a premier league player but right now he is nowhere near.
Late in second half, he flicked ball on to no one as if he was playing with City and he could expect someone to be there to pick it up and carry it. He will thrive in a better more possession based team. Gutted season has gone like this for him, he obviously enjoyed his time here last year.
