A couple of Wembleyesque lay offs from him last night
Someone shared a clip the other day where he did the same thing against Leeds, the only difference was that they didn’t score. Completely forgot about it until I saw the video but it was almost identical.

generally his decision making is shocking, really thought he was going to be great for us. A couple of things of link up play have been clever and worked but I'm not impressed over a season. Goes down to easily and moans to the ref rather than playing to the whistle.

Cash in and get a large wasted wage redistributed

He has his uses. He scored the winner yesterday for instance. He’s also very good at defending our box when we are up against it.

I find this a difficult decision. Potentially get the money back that we paid, and free up probably around 25k per week in wages. That’s all fine. But I don’t trust the remaining options.

Ability-wise I like Campbell. He doesn’t smack of 46 game availability though.

Cannon is at best jury-out, so whilst we hope for the best, it’s early days to rely on him.

Oné seems potentially earmarked for a left hand side option, sharing with Barry. So he’s not 100% an option there plus he also has played few games.

He needs to be replaced if he leaves. For us, he’s here and can be the 2nd or 3rd choice. Who can we attract to join and be one of 3 or 4 options? McBurnie and Brewster are two players unattached but both have had injury issues. If Brewster was staying he’d have signed now. Just not sure how reliable McBurnie fitness is. If it costs more to replace Moore then why would we bother?

I get the logic in selling him, it’s what we do next that worries me.

I’d say someone like Sam Surridge would be a decent replacement but no idea how much Nashville would want after a highly successful year.

He was quite useful when we were struggling to beat the press, but never offered much goal threat and I suspect he isn't going to be more than a bit part player in this system.

McBurnie and Moore both became better defenders for us, rather than attackers.
Not really what you want

I rate him but his confidence looks shot and we dont have the most nurturing of fanbases do we. ?

Not sure he fits into selles style

It just hasn't worked out for him and our new tactical approach will probably suit him even less than last year.

He will be a big earner as well and might be an area we could sensibly re-invest

Really like Moore, his attitude can’t be faulted but he’s a limited player, he’s taken a fair amount of time talking with myself and my kids on two occasions outside the ground, found him to be a really likeable bloke. He’s a good option off the bench but doesn’t seem to be a player Selles would be drawn to.

Seems like an obvious fit for both him and Wrexham, Parkinson likes a direct / long ball approach that would likely get the best of Moore.

If we can get a sensible fee and extra minutes for One this season it could be a win win situation.

Don't mind him going. Would give the one or Marsh potential more game time so all for it. This due to see them giving more in games than he does plus rather let them become better players

I always think we should have a big un in the side somewhere, just for that different option.

A couple of Wembleyesque lay offs from him last night
He did the same on Saturday. I posted on another thread, he must be having flashbacks when it happens.

I don’t like piling on on a player for one mistake, but for me he was one of the disappointments of last season. I don’t think we played to his strengths, admittedly, and he did score one of our best goals of the season at Cardiff, but I did expect more from a seasoned and proven goalscorer at this level. I wouldn’t be sorry to see him go.

Little doubt that, assuming we are now indeed a 4:3:3 formation side, the starting 11 will consist of LB on the left, TC central and either AB or COH (more floating than right).

Where this leaves KM I don’t really know other than sub.

I doubt at 33 he will accept this and will soon be agitating for a move. Wrexham sniffing apparently.

The apologists clamouring for McB will do well to consider that Selles will demand pressing at the top of the pitch.

I don’t see McB fulfilling that non negotiable as in his 5 years with us, not sure he could press a button !!!

UTB
TC better be Campbell not Cannon

True, but he's always going to miss chances. He gives us a focus point up top. I suspect if we'd played 2 up top with someone playing next to him we'd have been a lot more lethal up front.
Gotta decide ... One striker or two ... Tick tock

Was going to hull but got didn’t get in plane to their pre season to sign for us

Awful last night. If we get any opportunity to move him on we should take it. Gave the ball away with simple 2 yard passes, golden opportunity to put Cacares through the middle ignored or not even seen. Nothing will convince me he is a positive. Genuinely would have McBurnie back over him every day of the week.
I’d prefer not to have either of them.
