I'm not one of those people who hates him following the play-off final. I actually think he's a good player at this level in the right system with a run of games. That is a great bit of business though, considering his age and the system Selles is playing.

500k every time he doesnt shoot when team mates are clean through.

He is an OK player but you could see at times last season he wasn't as effective as he was for Ipswich and other clubs. He slowed the pace down, he doesn't look up enough to play others in etc.

Selles is going with one striker flanked by two wingers. Campbell is likely first choice and Cannon second choice. Moore was surplus to requirements and wouldn't suit our new style of play.

Give Selles a chance to sign someone before the moaning begins. Even then, whoever he signs will be third choice.

Geez, the summer we sold Ndiaye and Berge had less meltdowns than this one.

As you say surplus to requirement and earning a very good championship wage, as was Souza.
The decks are now cleared. We’ve lost two high earners we could get decent money for and the first 11 under Selles is no weaker.
It’s going to be an interesting couple of weeks.
