Thought this was gona be another thread having a pop at the intro music... gutted when I actually opened it :(

Awful news. Life really can be terrible sometimes. God bless little man

When I saw the videos on twitter it was clear the poor lad was so gravely ill. Says a lot about the lads heart he was able to fight a few more weeks.

Bless him and his family, they will be truly heartbroken. Life is cruel.

Well done to everyone who applauded Kas today, including the Swindon fans. That performance was for him.

A truly heartbreaking story. Thankfully at peace now.

This is truly awful . Nothing else matters . I don't know the family but my heart goes out to you.

As other have said you feel so helpless

sat there during the match unable to stop thinking about this .

Felt compelled to send an email to 3 Sufc employees offering to help in anyway possible .. build or commission a statue of kasabian , create an everlasting shrine ( not sure that's the right word )....fundraising for cancer research , the family or whatever ... I don't know but as a group , although we can't bring him back we can surely show our support somehow .

Hopefully the club will do something - I for one will be there body and soul whatever it is

As one of previous threads said there's been a lot of blades pass away recently so not trying to gloss over those but this one has really got to me ...

8 years old ...

I'm not normally into staged clapping at a given time but today's was very emotional - it was so loud and there were so many people on their feet that the players weren't quite sure whether to play on initially. Would have been lovely if we'd scored at the end of it as we should have.

I've just logged on and this is the first post I had to come to.
Just such terrible news. As a parent I have no idea how his parents will get through this,it is something that is too awful to contemplate.
Tears in my eyes as I type.
Bless you little fella, you've impacted on many football fans lives and not just the Blades family.
My thoughts are with your parents at what should be a wonderful time of the year.
I bet your friend Billy would have loved to score a goal to dedicate to you today.
RIP XX

I well up every time I think of this. I'm shedding a tear reading this thread.
If any of his family are on here reading this you have my utmost sympathy and I hope you find strength in each other.
As a loving parent this would be a nightmare I don't know if I could get back from.
Rest in Peace little Blade

Terrible news when I read it this morning but it's great that we got a win today, I'm sure he was up there today singing GCB at kick off.

RIP little man.

Don't post so much these days but such sad news about the little lad.

A whole ground on their feet and applauding for him was very emotional.

Rip little man.

It really is a cruel world when the evil seem to live forever.
Poor little fella RIP.

RIP Kasabian. Glad we could be fellow blades for a while - wish it could have been longer.

RIP brave little man, brought a tear to my eye with the applause. However much we think life is awful, remember for every 1 in front of you there are always 100 behind.

Football is more than just a game when it brings people together like this.

Bless the little lad....

Im not really one for communal outpourings of public grief (most of the time i dont think peoples sadness is genuine). However you cant help but have been touched by the lads fighting spirit & grit.

Rest in peace little man.

At least your suffering is now over.
