Not really, whatever bollocks may be spouted about Villa not being very good well shove that theory up your arse straight away. Premier League players, Premier League wages, at home in the cup and we pissed all over 'em. Fantastic result and a great day to be a Blade.
OK, that's that out of the way. My main reason for posting, as you all probably know, is that my pre-match excitement and anticipation for this one was zero......until the game started then it's completely different. Don't know what it is about football, or maybe it's just about being a Blade but you just can't help but love this club. Never been a McCabe fan, been downright fucked off with us a million times but we keep coming back for more because......well you tell me. Defies all logic but once it's in your blood it's there to stay.
Again, fantastic result today, I'll enjoy my tinnies and Vindaloo
and be back for more till my heart gives out. Once a Blade always a Blade, well done to each and everyone who went today, to all the players who took part and to our new manager, who just might end up being one of the best we've had.
