Never heard of him either.

Made a couple of appearances in cup competitions. Played in the Champions League in the game they lost to Shaktar. Looks a tidy wee player at 18 years old, but even on a loan basis I'd imagine he's out of our price range.

The good thing about clubs like Man City, they probably won't charge huge fees for their young players. They don't need to.

Such a cynic Ricky. I'm actually quite hopeful that if he comes, he'd offer an alternative to Duffy.

Despite my usual optimistic outlook... it does feel like... well... Brooks is off.

Even with Ruthers going to Charlton perhaps, I cannot see how we can fit them all into one side with any regularity.

I don't get that impression personally. We don't know the severity of his condition, but as has been said it can take a long time to shake off glandular fever and the season waits for no-one. Hopefully we're just strengthening.

Rumblings in London that we've pushing for Holmes and he wants to come.
Agent talk for me.
He chose Charlton over United...nothing more needs to be said.

I' wouldn't be too sure, one of their young players yet to make a league appearance has just bought a house worth over £2 million.

Even if the fee is low, the wages must be through the roof.

Personally I couldn't give a flying one about that. If and when he pulls on the red and white, and contributes to the best of his ability, the past is exactly that.

Only the likes of Gareth Ainsworth are banned from the Lane for past indiscretions.

choosing another team over United (no doubt for more money) indicates an unwanted character trait and it was less than a year ago.

I think there'll be one more in, an attacking midfielder/winger on loan I imagine, would like someone like Kasey Palmer who's just been recalled by Chelsea from his spell at Hudds

Have you considered the lad Kasey Palmer at Chelsea? He’s a bit like him.

These new-builds are fucking shite aren’t they?...

He has no affiliation with the club aside from Wilder, so whether he made a decision based on finance, family or prospects, why should we judge him harshly?

"We are definitely signing three players fromPL clubs. You have my word on it"

(Of course he never did, but that doesn't seem to matter on here for some posters)

He amended it later. “Brooks, Fleck and O’Connell are to be part-exchanged for Jack Marriott on a season-long loan.”

Do try to use the latest edition.

Sounds like Dronfield Blade might also know something we don't...
