Quite. Tufty made it pretty clear in a recent RS interview that his priorities are exactly where one would expect. A couple of strikers and a centre-back. That’s not to say we won’t be in for other positions but that sure seems to be the starting point,

If he is then I don’t think he has to date. Have a feeling Leonard may find himself as the cover for Basham, he could even over take him in the pecking order..

Two of Shrewsbury Town’s prized assets have handed in transfer requests today, SSN understands.

Midfielder Jon Nolan and defender Toto Nsiala both played key roles last season as Shrewsbury finished in third place in League One – but have today told the club they wish to leave.

We understand Ipswich, managed by former Shrews boss Paul Hurst, are keen to sign both players. In addition, Sheffield United and Wigan have been linked with Nolan, whilst Bolton are understood to be keen on Nsiala.

If we're looking at Nolan, that pretty much confirms we'll try to sign Freeman if possible.
