Thought he was like a mardy little boy last night, he was one of the most liked players at BDTBL but he's obviously gone the way a lot of players do when they are no longer good enough just kicking and moaning.

The most irritating thing about him was that sickly "I'm innocent" smile and mocking laugh he does two seconds after a sly off the ball kick......

toss-pot.

Doesnt half fancy himself ,to be fair he needed a bit more aggression to his game but last night he was sad.

I thought his kicking out was tit for tat, Doyle had a few digs into him.
I saw no real issue with his play last night to be honest.

Thought it was brill. Proper old school tussle. Sledging, hair pulling, topped off with an amazing last ditch tackle. At least Harley didn't hide unlike Allen did second half after Doyle had given him a few achilles scrapers.

Best moment of the night ... Hill attempting to square up to Lurch in the second half.

I thought the fans got on his back for the exact same reasons we used to love him.

All a bit fickle really.

He had a really good hard fought game with McMahon and i'm sure they both appreciated each other in the handshakes at the end.

Also, Dickinson had some great battles with Blackman & Porter.

Williamson with Doyle.

All in all it was a physical game and i'm sure all the outfield players knew they'd had a battle

I thought Harley played it perfectly yesterday, he knew he’d get some stick for being an ex Blade and with Willo in the side, they’d obviously singled out a few players to wind up... Doyle, Flynn, Williams and Hill. Seemed to be working 1st half. Second half, McMahon had a good old fashioned battle with Harley, neither player giving an inch and giving it back.

I liked McMahon’s post match interview, he said he loves those types of battles during the game and he knows its a good fair battle, but they shake hands afterwards, because its football. No long term spats, no childish whinging, no issues with abusing each other, play the game and leave the issues on the pitch, finish with a handshake.

Harley has always been good like that and it seems McMahon is the same. Good to see.

I remembered why I liked Harley so much.

He got stuck in, played well, got around the pitch and tried to rile the opponents.
Couldn't ask for more really........... Apart from not against us obviously.

I was impressed with the fighting spirit again yesterday.
Hill with little man syndrome at one point and McMahon getting stuck in was good to see.

Doyle was a little lucky at times (when looking back at TV even a bit cynical) with some challenges but another steady away performance.

Good 3 points.

I just wish Blackman would belt a penalty rather than stuttering and giving me a heart attck whenever he takes one ( Strange moan seeing as he scores, I accept that)

That way of penalty taking used to be unlawful. Not sure what changed.

It does seem a pretty foolproof way if you have the nerve. You wait to see which way the goalie commits to and slide it in the other corner. If the goalie doesn't commit, it's probably too late for him to make a shot knocked into a corner.

I just think it will backfire at some point.
When it does he will look a complete prick

Especially if it is last minute to win a game or something.

At the moment it looks cool tho.. but it does makes me heart jump for a second..

John aldridge used to do it and as he played for Liverpool it became ok.

It's only unlawful if you stop after your last step: that is deemed ungentlemanly conduct and should result in a booking.

I agree though: Nick Blackman - the poor team's Mario Balotelli when it comes to penalties.
