Good to see the lad given a run out yesterday.

Came on for Porter. I assume this was tactical and a bit risky for Wilson as Carlisle had just scored and Porter is quite reasonable in holding the ball up and the momentum for a while was with the home side who but for some good George Long saves would have equalised.

For what he did he was alright.

He's a big lad! Seemed to give a few fouls away. He'll learn from experience.

From the few games I've seen Joe play, he's happy playing up front with his back to goal holding it up.

He's not blessed with great pace but he must be quicker than Porter :).

The good thing is Wilson doesn't play them until he trusts them.

Joe won't let anyone down and could well chip in with a goal or two. Probably a better bet than Cresswell now.

He's definitely a better bet than Cresswell in my opinion, just because he's more mobile.

Ironside is really good at holding the ball up as UnitedBlade says, I hope he can get a few more chances and gain some experience because I think he'll be a really good player.

Jordan Slew thrived on Ironside's hold up play in the 18s and he knows where the net is when the chances fall for him too.

He's very enthusiastic and you can tell that he loves his football. He will relish any time he gets on the pitch and will always give 100%. That, I know.

Have you just come out of the Jungle or summat?
