God's country ...... Rovrum!
Released by Ipswich and apparantly being tracked by Peterborough, us and MK Dons

Apart from being:

too old
injury prone
on sky high wages (at Ipswich)
probably past it

I still think he'd have somat to offer the team provided (and here's the sticking point) he'd accept div 3 wages, on a pay as you play basis and of course him being prepared to play in div 3 (which he wont :D)

Thoughts

No thanks. Past it, far too expensive and very dodgy hairdo!!;)

Beattie situation all over again I think. As much as he'd be a great asset at League 1, if he's fit enough he'll go somewhere better.

He completely screwed Hull City financially.

Massive salary and very little return or commitment.

No thanks.

Absolutely not. Unless he plays for free. Or a "pay as you play" deal. Which pretty much amounts to the same thing.

The Star this morning reports that Wilson has denied any link to Bullard, so it's a non story

Reading all the above posts, I have to apologies for building everyones hopes up! :D

Mr Bullard retired a few days ago, having been told his knees could go permanently at any time.

I remember him tearing us a new one at Fulham some years ago. Then his knee went bang an he went off. Still one of the most memorable performances by an opposition player I have ever seen. And he never stopped smiling .
