What's the betting as soon as the ink is dry on that contract he loses that yard of pace, that killer instinct and that high octane energy. The last two years he's been playing for this moment. His last big contract. In the same way Emile Heskey smashed it in his last season with Wigan before signing a big fat contract with Villa and then disappearing into middle aged.
