To be honest Bob last season De Merit was hindered by a horrendous eye injury that was so severe at one stage it was thought he may lose sight in the eye. No doubt this affected both his confidence and performance but he is now fully fit so hopefully if je does sign it will be the one Watford had a couple of years ago.

Think he'll be ok with Morgs at the side of him, although tbh, I would like nossy as well.

We also need another gk imo. 2 gone and 1 in doesn't balance.

Lets hope so, I would have an under lying doubt about the lack of pace but we'll have to see.

Certainly a back four with Halford, DeMerit, Morgs, Dickinson would collectively be slower than an asthmatic ant with heavy shopping.

One thing I do know is that Halford would have to take a massive pay cut and unless his ego has been readjusted by failing to break into the Wolves team he won't accept what we can offer.
