8 points. Win the home games, draws at Blackpool and Bury, lose at Colchester

Any small glimmers of optimism seeping in to the fans boots gets smashed out of sight as the team under perform, the board can't even stretch themselves to under perform, and Walsall and Gillingham pull 4 points clear of Burton in 3rd.

We now have Wigan on the 12th, so 6 league games.

Four away from home. Be great for the rest of the season if we have a good month.

All winable games in the league you would think, maybe a draw against Peterborough and Wigan. Other than that we should get some momentum going.

Hopefully keep it up winning Peterbrough Colchester swindon and Blackpool, drawing bury and loosing Wigan possibly, anything better would be nice. So hopefully 13 points. Not wanting to curse it.

Peterborough, Colchester & Swindon - win

Wigan, Blackpool & Bury - lose

Hope we get more than 9 points tho.

Surely the Wigan game would have been better rescheduled for Feb as we have no midweek games. We now have 7 games in 28 days, possibly 8 games if we get a draw in the cup.

From 6 games we should be looking at 12+ points to at least sty in contention any more than that is a nice bonus.
So I'll say 15 points from January then after 4th round of FA CUP kick on and reel in top 2.

Indeed, but it's not our choice...

do we have any input being the away team or do Wigan take the lead on it ? They plan on the Thursday before too meaning an extra couple of days rest.

It's league policy. You play the first realistically available date.

We'll be alright, mate, we're only playing Man Utd the Saturday before:cool:

Strange that clubs can't agree between themselves. Rochdale v Crewe which should have been played on Boxing Day has been scheduled for Feb. The bury v Barnsley one hasn't been scheduled at all yet. it probably gives Wigan the edge but we're winning games so keep them coming I suppose and fear nobody.
