I'd be inclined to agree, but they haven't been given much of a chance for whatever reason. I'd like to see them given a real chance first and if they are clearly worse than what we have then I'm in full agreement with you.

I've been wanting the likes of Chappell and Tønne to get a chance, first and foremost because I don't think they'd do any worse than the absolute mediocrity of Marcus Williams, David McAllister and Richard Cresswell.

But if Danny Wilson won't play them, it's far better for us to spend the money on someone he rates, and far better for the players' development to let them join a club that will give them first team football. Let's do something active about this as soon as possible, not just let them make up numbers in the U21s until their contracts are up.
