More great stuff Shreds. Met Jamie ever so briefly at PNE last year as he was giving a dressing room reaction for the corporate folk. Seemed like a nice fella.

Looking forward to the story of his handball goal versus Man U and the partnership with David Tuttle. Good times. :)

Love the interviews Ian - another excellent piece - looking forward to the next two parts.
Can I suggest Jock Bryson next? Jamie Hoyland knows what he is up to.

Cheers Blade

Just posted up Part 2 - some great and also some sad Derby Day memories

http://aunitedview.blogspot.com/2012/03/interview-with-jamie-hoyland-part-2-roy.html

JD - Jamie was a lovely bloke to meet and with a great memory for facts and stories

Kenilworth - Someone has already asked Jamie and I on twitter if a Jocky Bryson interview can be arranged! Let's see if Jamie can have a word. It is surprising and pleasing how the Agana interview led to the Alan Kelly interview (and another one I am hopefully doing this week), the Ned interview led to Jamie's interest and I've now been asked about another two. Will have to see what happens and when I find time!

Nice interview again. Looking forward to the others already.

Great interview, but Liverpool beat United 3-1 on the opening day of the 1990-91 season, not 2-0 - you may want to edit that bit in your blog.

The bit about mel Rees choked me up but I remember one Friday night being in the masons at hillsborough and the piggy scum singing songs about his death and his cancer that's why I hate them
United fans would never do that , at least I hope not or I wouldn't be a united fan any longer

Fantastic article as always, really appreciate someone going to the trouble to do this, although can I come with you next time!
