I do think a lot of people miss or misunderstand what Beattie does off the ball, he certainly put plenty of work in and MOST of this season i'd suggest only Monty covers more ground than him.

Still, never mind eh, some people have their wish, he's out Saturday.

He's lazy drop him!!!

He does so much off the ball, people just don't look like you say Foxy. They miss all his hard work.

Beattie for me is a nailed-on candidate for Player of the Year. After all, all he does is score, get back to defend, pass and generally play for the team.

his movement off the ball was ace at the start of the season, but the past few games its dropped.

few seasons ago tonge started off great and he went down hill and people called for him to be dropped. he was and came back a better player at the time.

so why cant BT?

I do in a way agree with you Keenzy. But on the same note, I think we would be a worse team with out Beattie in it. He was doing more at begining of the season, but even though he is doing less now he is still doing more than everyone bar monty.

I think the only people seem to think he aint doin much etc...etc is because he is not scoring as regularly as he used to, he could be doing some great things but we only noticed him becuase he was in front of us banging them in, i think hes a quality player myself, and if we stay down this season (and it certainly looks like it) he aint stayin because he is top flight material, i dont think many can argue
