I said last week that I thought credit should go to the scorers because they took them well and if we had scored them they would have been brilliant however I was informed by some that it was more to do with bad defending, now they are goals of the week by people, I presume who only see them for what they are, hope we score one like it later, there will be beer everywhere.

But afaict we've been conceding these worldies for about a calendar year now.

(Didn't Chesterfield also score two in one game last season.)

At some point it stops being bad luck and starts being a structural weakness doesn't it?

If you allow enough shots from the edge of the box then some will fly in and look spectacular - and unlucky. But it's not. It's the Law of Averages.

Bradford had plenty of decent chances from range didn't hit target. At the time I thought we'd been fortunate.

I think shots from range might well be an area we are vulnerable. Long looks better than Howard, but we should be stopping them earlier, without the keeper getting involved except as a last resort.
