Gone on loan to Southampton until January. Hardly a glamorous gig is it? They usually send the players they have high hopes for championship clubs ( sinclair and mancienne ). Maybe he isn't developing as they'd hoped?

I don't think Mellis was the shining star out of that particular youth set-up... Naughton always looked better than him, as did Wedgbury.

It was silly money he ended up going for, all to sit on the bench for a couple of cup games.
