Would definitely be a very useful addition to our squad but unless it's on loan and Newcastle are paying 70-80% of his no doubt considerable wage then no chance!

He’s now a free agent, had a great season for Forest, just behind Lolley for POTY. Loads of PL experience, backup for LWB/CM/CB?

Wilder-esque signing? Not saying he is definitely someone i’d want at bdtbl, but we know cw has a penchant for stats, and an eye for a steal, could tick a few boxes?

If our midfield back up to Fleck and Norwood is Lundstram, Colback and Morrison we are in a whole world of trouble once injuries/suspensions hit.

I think we need a quality CM back up because in that area the drop off from the first choice pairing to the rest is huge.

I think I probably like Lunstram more than the average fan (I am in no way saying he is Premier League quality). I think he has a role to play this season. I think we will see him from the bench from time to time to see games out and potentially start if we have injuries/suspensions. He is still fairly young, I assume cheap wages and fills the squad out a bit.

If we were to sell him that would leave us needing to sign a minimum of 2 (I would argue 3) CM signings, which is too many IMO.

I wouldn't be totally against Colback if we signed another midfielder and kept Lundstram as well.

I think the above options would be alright for the first season. Not ideal and would be an area that needs upgrading next summer.
