Loved it all today a big thank you to Micky Adams
Atmosphere and commitment
And the GCB song sung properly mid game with passion.
I LOVE BEING A BLADE !!!!

more power to mickys elbow ,couple of defensive signings and lets rock,up the blades

More commitment & passion today - & that never say die attitude. And how great it felt to silence those smug Donny fans in the 96th minute.

But we definitely do need to strengthen at the back - we won't win many if we keep giving goals away. McCabe must give MA the funds to sort it out.

We've got our Blades back.

After Robson et al.

The lane was rocking today. We can make it a fortress again.

Great atmosphere for the first time in ages.

Sorry Alien just noticed your post.

UTB

posted something similar after the Norwich game....the spark seems to be coming back..we are .scoring goals so just need to tighten up at the back and we will be OK.

Glad we have 12 days until the next league game as it might give MA some time to get some reinfocements

Not to mention the fact that the words to the GCB were not shown on the big screen this week (and about bloody time!) - see Gary, we can sing it all by ourselves ;)

We still need to lose any music when we score!

I hate it!

Twas all said when Blackwell came in and we started running around a lot more and won a few games.
In the end, it'll all be about proper foundations, not just running around more.
But Kozza, you little beauty. Gave us the biggest smile since his he-man impression in the warm-down at Leeds.

Cant agree more with the above post. People around me were actually singing and standing up today showing some general interest, especially the old guy sat behind me whos eyes nearly popped out of his head screaming when we equalised, i didnt know he still went to the match up to that point!!!!

Passion and commitment there for all to see. Better vocal support as a result.

It's just a start, though. We are (obviously) still in deep trouble. Recruitment required urgently.

Let's not get the idea that passion and commitment are mutually exclusive with good passing football. We need to aspire to both. It's what all the better teams do.

Willo was truly admirable today, especially given his long lay off. I applaud him: Well done mate. Let's hope MA comes round to thinking that Leon is the obvious partner for him in central midfield.

No. The central midfield needs more bite than a combination of Britton & Williamson can provide, certainly in this division.

Better bring in a footballer with a bit of bite, then!

So far as the present squad goes, those two are better defensively than any of the alternatives and can play a bit (which may not matter in the current clamour for passion alone).

Loved it Yesterday, That second half was chuffing cold and I was beginning to think I should've stayed at home as my man flu was getting worse... but then just before the sending off, the Lane lifted, sure it was just 21000 (donny brought a few to be fair) but the lane was loud.

Yep, my United is back as well!

Agreed, was a good atmosphere and a committed performance. If we can keep the tempo but play a little more football I'll be happy.

Yep agreed, playing it after Boggy's goal was just downright cringeworthy

The Donny fans were taking the piss, dancing to Tom Hark after Boggy's goal which most of us thought was just a consolation. It was embasrassing. Time for TH to end, it's had its day. Maybe Mickey will have a word.

A lot of people round me stopped cheering and just sat down when the music started.

It has defo had its day, as has the stupid words on the big screen for the greasy chip butty song.

I miss the old score board with the stick man scoring and GOAL being splated across it...those were the days!

Has anyone asked the club to stop with the music after a goal? If so what did they say?

Maybe this is something we can put to the supporters group thingy, the name escapes me at the mo...
