Is this Wilder’s Millwall moment?

Aye nothing a few pints of Guinness won’t sort out so it won’t, by the end of the evening Robbo will be taking tag teams on the cobbles so he will.

I'd prefer it to be a Gillingham away moment where Alan Knill says maybe we need 3 at the back and over lapping centre backs and wing backs out wide.

That game was Adkins, no?
No 4th September 2016 Gillingham away on the TV. Won 2-1 with goals from Freeman and Sharp. It was the first game Jake Wright played in a 3 at the back and Basham and Oconnell were given licence to roam. It set the scene for the rest of the season. How we could do with that formation and innovative style of play now.

Ah, thought you meant the 4-0

We actually put in a decent performance away at Millwall that day and lost to a very unfortunate penalty when JOC handballed it.

Today wasn’t even showing any underlying progress, it was a complete mess from a dead husk of a team.

He’s got some big decisions to make

Think we need to stop living in the past

No one’s living in the past, Millwall was a similar situation where we’d lost our opening 4(?) matches and Wilder did something different and bought the lads beers and somehow we kicked on. Maybe it’ll take another similar action to invigorate our current season.
