Is this the High Water Mark for Wilder's Blades?

I have never been happy in 38 years of being a Blade
I have never been prouder as a Blade, of what has been achieved by Wilder and this band of brothers.
I'm loving every minute of it, really savouring it.
At the start of the season I expected a few hammerings by now - but sitting in 6th place today, fear no one in this league.
1. It has been a roller coaster with too many dips but the odd Wembley trip and Semi final cup runs have been great.
2. Ditto I now think we have the next Clough senior / Ferguson as our manager and we are now at the mercy of the Prince as to whether he can run his ambitions here or if he is restricted, in which case he will go.
3. Ditto
4. Ditto

As for the rest of the season - I think it's going to get better because our tactics don't limit to "overlapping centre halves" Blade analytics (Jay) pointed out Didzy's dummy run for Moose's goal on twitter, which opened up the middle of the defence (>£80mil worth). Great thinking and a football brain from Didzy. The fact that they are so close as a unit the whole squad has massive benefits in comparison to the big clubs who just buy big names.

3-5 injuries would affect any team.. even City
City are struggling* without Laporte, let alone another 4 on top.

*Struggling is the wrong word, but they definitely miss him

I don't see why this has to be the high water mark for this team, I genuinely belief that there is still more to come. Each time we have moved up people have said that we would out of our depth , but it hasn't happened has it? The players have just stepped up and taken it in their stride. Players like Fleck, Baldock, Stevens , Lunstram and the others look as though they were born to play in the Premiere League. I see no reason why they can't continue to improve & get even better. People are starting to admit that we are actually a good side , and with a bit more investment can be a very good side . No Blades team in my 55 years of supporting them has had more potential to step up to the next level and be contenders to win things in my view.
I agree with everything you've said, but we are now approaching the hardest part of the year. No one knows if we will lose one or even two of our key players for whatever reason. No one can be sure that the depth of the squad will prove enough to cover for those possible losses, or even step up higher than expected.
The motto for the team should be "Style and Standards".
