...that you have to rearrange games as soon as possible after the original date?

Seems strange otherwise that we've stuck the Gillingham match in during such a busy period when there are plenty of dates free in April.

Don't think so, although the League does encourage clubs to play as near as possible to the original date.

Newport and Plymouth have just re-arranged their postponed match (last week) for April. They could have played in March but Plymouth didn't want to because it would have meant them having 3 midweek matches out of 4, which they claimed wasn't ideal.

They should come and have a look at ours :(

Look on the bright side, that's 14 games from now until the end of March,

plus at least 2 more not including replays, before we grace Wemberlee again ;)

At least the lads won't need to do too much training

Like the rest of the UK, they'll be thinking that our run to the FA.Cup final should not be disturbed

I think we'll be arranging them as soon as possible incase we beat Forest. That would be another game to fit in.

Plus, we won't want games in hand when we are where we are. We can't afford to fall adrift and add pressure on to them games in hand. Get them played and hopefully get points on the board as soon as possible.

Agree that these games need playing quickly, thats why Nigel is building a quality squad not just a team.

I disagree. I think it’s chuffing stupid that we’re cramming 8 games into February, 8 games into March and (probably) only 5 in April.
We should have waited to see how we did against Forest when the picture will become much clearer.
It could cost us dear if we lose any of these “crammed in” games through injury or fatigue and be left to repent at leisure in April.

Gillingham will see us as beatable now that's why they wanted it so quickly

I would imagine that there will be more games called off in the next few weeks though, so we may end up in that situation regardless. We're already 2 or 3 games behind most teams and we can't afford that to get any worse.

At the end of the day, they are professional athletes and should be happy playing on Saturday and midweek. If they're not fit enough to do it then we have to ask serious questions of both the players' fitness levels and the fitness staff.
