Blades fans attending Sunday's match at Selhurst Park are asked to observe the following and to therefore help preserve the reputation of Sheffield United:

* If flags are taken into the stadium - poles should be removed. (No flags with poles/sticks will be allowed).

* In view of the large 'away' contingent of supporters, areas where flags can be displayed are minimal. The large Sheffield United flag will be taken on the day by SUFC officials and this can be displayed overhead up to kick-off.

* If bags are taken they may be subject to a search.

* The kick-off will not be delayed for late arrival of supporters. The roads around Crystal Palace are subject to considerable roads-works - supporters are therefore advised to arrive 45 minutes early.

* Supporters are asked not to take liquid in containers and this includes bottled or canned drinks.

Are there really that many people going who all of the above will be a massive surprise to?
