I'M SICK OF IT

took a slight deflection off a defenders shoulder as he stooped down which looped the flight that bit more away from the keeper and catching him out, wouldve definitely tipped it round getting a better hand on it if it hadnt just deviated from his initial reading of it

Jamal’s positioning was wrong for the shot he was too far to the right and away from his line then he didn’t move too much to the left he just dived for it. I knew as soon as their player hit it that it would go in, wrong positioning and he got a hand to it. If he was more to the left and further back he would of got to it easily it was not overly high. I do feel he can’t stop shots from outside the box. IMO.

I think some people are getting overly negative just on the back of what maybe 2 bad results but 20 minutes left. This was bound to happen at some point this season when we don't get the right result!. Wilder will already have a plan in place to turn things around!!. Keep the faith. In wilder we trust. Utb

I'm not saying it's gone down the shitter, i'm saying this is becoming annoying, it's happened when we've won.

Blackman could have been unsighted by their #28 stood in an offside position who ducked under the shot.

For me Blackman went with the wrong hand.

Agreed but it was Moore's first game back to be fair, look how consistent he was last season and how many games he kept us in. Blackman's errors against QPR and Middlesborough were poor not to mention his performance against Fulham where he was slow off his line and easily beat.
The goal at Boro was Basham’s error.

I don’t think many were blaming Blackman for being in no mans land after the way the mis-header set up the play.

It’s certainly not a ‘netbuster’ if he doesn’t get the shot off in the first place. Our closing down has been shocking alately.

Exactamondo, someone shoots and there's no telling what will happen. I mean, how many of our goals have come from deflected shots or shots which have been blocked and the rebound has been lucky enough to fall to someone? At least the ball goes into the mixer and they all count don't they, no matter how they're scored?

Although I think Blackman should have done better with the Brum strike, we are in a spell where teams are scoring wonder goals against us every game. But this will happen more at Championship level, as players are of better quality, and can score goals like that.

Yes, we can remedy this to an extent, by closing down properly.

Fleck should shoot more when he gets into position around the box, he has thunder in his feet and would surely get a few. He's more than capable.

Yes, plus it'll lead to more deflections and loose balls in the penalty area if he doesn't score.

I agree. Shouldn't shoot too much, but should try more often than he does. Same with Duffy. As you say, will create more opportunities such as first against Fulham.

The goal at Boro was Basham’s error.

I don’t think many were blaming Blackman for being in no mans land after the way the mis-header set up the play.

Basham played a big part in conceding that goal, but Blackman's decision to get off his line so hastily over a looping ball well outside his 6 yard box especially when Basham was going for the second attempt to clear the ball was poor judgement and left him exposed in no mans land.

It looked like it took a slight deflection. But yeah we seem to be a sponge for long range shots.
We're going through a spell when teams are having no real chances to score, reverting to shit or bust in desperation, when teams are in control usually they try to work something we do usually try to work something, maybe a good idea to have a crack more often.
Wilder I'm sure will be working on the.
closing down issue as no doubt with the balls today players given time to line it up
will always have a chance of finding the net
