In a week where we've played Wednesday, Wolves and Forest and come out with 6 points I can't feel disappointed.

It would have been nice to come away with something against Forest after putting in such a solid performance- save for two silly mistakes.

I couldn't have believed that we'd have gotten off to the start that we did and this break has come at the perfect time for us to get refreshed and push on.

What a brilliant time to be a blade!

We've had 3 games in the space of 6 days, that's tough on any team -and we had injuries on top of that. Shame we didn't get a point today but hey ho. :)

Forest were lucky

I'm not sure they were, first half they were very fortunate to go in leading. Second half I thought they played good counter attacking football, and up until the last 15 minutes looked the more likely to score. No complaints from me, I walk away from the city ground proud of the attacking performance. We go away and play like a home side, great to watch, but always likely to concede. Still remains a fantastic week to be a blade!

I watched the match on the beamback and my only real criticism was that Donaldson didnt seem match fit - not quite sharp enough but I thought we picked up well when Leaon and Brooksy came on. Ive noticed that opposition are obviously aware of brooks and dont give him any space at all. The lad makes his space though and is very clever on the ball and also his awareness. UTB. Onwards and upwards

Love the fact we ain't playing for a bloody point 7 wins out of 11 , 21 points, 3rd in a quality division, I'm one happy Blade!

Not wishing to get ahead of myself.... first quarter of the season completed that would give us a final tally of 84 points. No reason why over the next 3 quarters we cannot pull back a further 16 points in order to achieve a second season of 100 points.

It's highly likely as Wilder's teams usually get stronger as the season goes on. It has happened in most seasons at each of the clubs he has ever managed to date. I don't see it changing this season.

Averaging 2(ish) points per game in the first 11 in the Champ? I'll take that & something close to it for the rest of the season.
For me, really positive start that suggests we have little to fear & everything to play for.
Got to trust Mr Wilder that he'll make the best calls for the right reasons - why wouldn't he? - and whilst some selections might seem a little puzzling at times, being a Blade right now is bloody brilliant.
Unless you're Brian the nobhead Blade. Whether he's serious, a clown, mental or a RS character to pep things up, it's boring.
UP The Blades!!

Agree. I think we'll have a very positive January transfer window to push on toward our overall objective.
