I am going to say it.. I don't care about the FA Cup Game.

Sorry I just can't summon up any enthusiasm for it, I am a season ticket holder and I am not going. In our current predicament I would much rather we were playing a League game this weekend rather than falling more league places down the table.

I suppose if we were in a better state and had at least a chance of getting to the later stages I would be more interested, but my mind is already on the Peterboro game in midweek.
Rubbish.
We are in need of positivity and an fa cup run is good tonic.
Were scoring goals now,so it gives the strikers even more target practice and the chance for the defence and new additions to bed in and get there tackles timed.
A perfect opportunity for people to shine in a game thats winnable.
utb.

If we did get past Fulham if. And we draw Man City away that's £3/4mill guaranteed and therefore could make for one decent signing at the end of the month and some money in the pot when the loan window opens. Its not just about the hope of winning it, its more pragmatic than that.

I love the fa cup always have! It's only really lost the magic since manure were allowed not to compete & the amount of games across all competions you can now see on the telebox.Having said that looks like i'm gonna get piss wet through, hoping todys game is a cracker

What else are you going to do on a rainy Sunday afternoon? As a season ticket holder you'd have had to shell out the princely sum of ten quid, and there's fuck all on telly this afternoon until the obligatory ITV wank-fest because two Premier League teams are playing each other in the FA Cup with Budweiser, The Fizzy Yank Piss.

Ten quid. What does that get you nowadays? Just ten quid, and you'd consider it a bargain if the Blades do to Fulham what they did to Villa. Still, there's always Cash In The Attic, or a ten hour Ice Road Truckers marathon on History.

Bollocks to league football, it's crap. I love cup football, everything it is to follow a team jammed into 90 minutes. League football is death by 1000 cuts unless you follow Man City.

Far too many have fallen hook, line and sinker into the consensual view peddled by Sky TVs and the elite clubs that the premier league and getting or staying there is more important than winning a bloody cup. Just stop and think about that for a second. A Cup.

Hell might freeze over first but as long as we are still in it, then we ought to have a bloody good go at winning it.

Hey... it's guaranteed. Jezzablade says so.

Taking a low cost game (Stoke) and a lowest ave attendance 39,997 based on it being a Saturday. Also the fact that many Man City fans don't get to games hence them making it an 80,000 stadium so they may come to a game between the two clubs with general sale and less season ticket holders.

taking £57 Lowest ticket x 40000 (lowest Ave) = £2,160,000 or £2.2Mil Half of which would be over £1Mill. Therefore I was wrong it would not be 3/4 of a million it would be over a million conservative.
So my apologise for underestimating what an away day at Man City would have got us in Gross takings before any potential TV money.

Unfortunately we have an away replay at the most poorly supported Prem team instead and the possibility of facing Forest at best at home.
