I’ll take that.

Has Sharp suddenly become invisible? He gets nothing from referees and is generally good for a penalty every game.

There’s no denying we played well. We just lacked that final piece of the puzzle..

They packed their box with 9players behind the ball, parked the bus. Fair play to them, a point is the best they could’ve wished for. They’re a poor poor team.

As dominant a game I’ve seen at home since we played Northampton on New Years Eve last year.

I'll take it n'all. Tuesday we were brave but it worried me- tonight, couldn't get a winner but we were back to normal.

And fair play Lundstram, tonnes better tonight, wanted the ball and brought it out more, better movement, thought he was good. Looking forward to Baldock coming back in now

Exactly.

Expect to roundly slaughtered on here for suggesting we were anything less than Brazil 1970 though...
It’s quite worrying how any criticism on here is seen as an attack on the club, Chris, the players, John Garrett and all their families.

Theyve had 1 point away from home all season, let’s not dress it up, it’s a poor result.
Yeh agreed it's a poor result. I'm very happy though with a point after losing on Tuesday!. We're fucking joint 2nd with 37 points from 19 games!!. It's not the end of our season. We just move on to millwall and carry on. Some people need to keep the faith. In wilder we trust. Utb

A disappointing result, but some cant wait to pounce with the negative shit. Top 6 going into the New Year will happen and that is amazing for a pub team from Yorkshire. Then lets see what January brings regarding squad strengthening.

The forums basically turned into the red and white equivalent of Porktalk lately I'm sad to say.

I just think we should’ve have beat some very poor opposition. Simple as.

If we all take a step back and look at this. One of the big spending pre season favourites has just come to lane and put 10 men behind the ball, adjusted their formation to play us. The leagues supposed “big boys” fear us

Exactly this weekend last year we drew at Charlton... everything turned out ok in the end!

We struggle when teams match our formation and are very succeptable to the counter attack given the way we play.

Fair play to Chris, by bringing on the subs and changing the formation we got level. I thought, after an initial spurt, both were poor, undisciplined and lazy in their play.

It also leaves us light up top and unable to get the ball in the box quick enough.

Another long range goal conceded. Not closing down the shooter.

We're paying for not getting players in this summer. We need to get through to January as best we can and address it.

It’s a disappointing result for sure....but we’re re-grouping at the moment, best player out and just as big a loss with the way we play, Baldock and Freeman out.

When they are back we’ll be much more balanced and more of a threat.

We played well tonight.

It's just hard to find the balance. For some, this result means we'll be struggling for the 5 more wins we need to avoid the drop. Others rightly think that a team in 3rd should be beating Birmingham. The truth lies somewhere in between probably.

For what it's worth, most threads on Owlstalk these days are about "supporters" flouncing out and vowing never to return to the sty until Carlos is gone. So we've a way to go to match their level of negativity.

I didnt think we were particularly good or bad. Nothing game with no outstanding performances that wont stick in the mind very long. At least we didnt lose

Didn't think we were great tonight to be fair. Don't think we moved the ball quick enough, especially first half, and sometimes it's all quite predictable. As has been said, the loss of Coutts and the RW backs is major to the way we play. Another observation from tonight is that our crossing from wide areas was way below par - we either couldn't get past the near post marker or they were overhit.

Having said that, it's still a very good season for us, we haven't become a shit team overnight, and we're still in with a decent shout of going up.

Not a good result, okay performance. Not us at our best. We get caught in a trap on days like today where we spend too long trying to create the perfect crossing opportunity, but then when you see us start to put more crosses in you realise we're very lacking in that department.

Yet another fantastic striker goes in against us, and that made the game a lot tougher. We didn't create enough real chances at the other end to have too many complaints. I really don't have a lot to say about this game overall.

Thought we played well and came up against a team set on playing on the counter
Their team cost more than ours and I think they spent more in the last transfer window than we probably ever have so for me it's not the result it's the fact we were well on top but didn't win
Brooksy and Clarke for me from now on no room for sentiment ,Billy will force his way back in after a rest and we need this kind of competition for places
