Which would you rather have at the current state?

For me id have hulse.... you?

So mature and needed, really backs up your opinion and re-enforces your knowledge.

I'm undecided, we haven't seen enough of a fit Henderson, I can tell you the Derby season ticket holder I know would swap them instantly though.

I said when we signed Henderson that he was a thuggish donkey - seems he is doing his level best to prove me right. Got to say HULSE.

never understood why we did sell Hulse.

Because we got a good offer for someone who'd just returned from a potential career threatening injury and who's contract didn't have a long time to go and was struggling to get back in any form.

Whilst we have replaced him with an expensive (both in terms of wages and fee), immobile, injury prone, red card prone, long ball magnet.

I would have preferred to keep Hulse but i understand the reasoning behind his sale; i just wish we had replaced him with a big, string and fast centre forward.

So Hulse for me (in case that was too cryptic).

i concur!!

although of the two i prefer henderson, never rated hulse

Just out of interest, what do you feel that Henderson gives us which Hulse did not?

I'm not being funny, just genuinely interested.

My own opinion is that Henderson arrives with a better pedigree than hulse. Granted Henderson hasnt found form as yet, mainly due to an injury early in the season which has not allowed him a decent run in the team.

He's a big strong player, who holds the ball up well. I just believe that he has far more potential than hulse.

Im not saying that hulse is/was a bad player, i just feel that Henderson can offer more

what are you going on about, had hulse not broke his leg we would never have gotten relegated

Replace hulse with hume and come back at the end of the season..... sound familiar?

What absolute tripe! Granted we would have probably stood a better chance of staying up, but at the time he scored 8 goals! Hardly survival standard was it.

He would have probably ended up with 15 goals tops....

Well i have to agree with username..........had Hulse not got injured i too think the Blades would have avoided relegation.

Im not saying that we wouldnt have stayed up, the point im making is that noone can possibly say we would.

Hulse probably would have gone on to score that extra goal we needed.

Shit happens:(

Hulse was our only real goal scorer in the premiership, we really did miss him when he got injured but when he got back from his injury it was clear that he would never get back to his best so we were right to sell him as we got a good deal.
However, Henderson is not the answer!!! All i remember of him for watford in same season was he had poor ball control and was tough as nails.... the only goals he ever scored were tap-ins or bolt-on headers. So when I heard we had bought him, i was very disappointed especially the amount we spent on him (£2m is ridiculous amount).
I though I would give him a chance though and not slate him from the start but despite his very few starts this year he has done very little to change my opinion of him!
SO, i would have neither as they are both no good at the moment.

15 goals a season from 1 player is a rare thing in the premiership, Wayne Rooney has only hit more then 15 league goals once (and even then he only got 16).

I too feel that if Hulse had not been injured then we would have not been relegated but it's all guess work.
