SHEFFIELD United have warned agents and rival clubs they will not be allowed to exploit the uncertainty surrounding their future by prising players away from Bramall Lane.
Responding to suggestions that Bryan Robson's squad has been left vulnerable to predators after Tuesday's announcement the arbitration panel investigating the Carlos Tevez Affair could delay its verdict until the end of the month Terry Robinson, United's chairman, told The Star: "I am scheduled to hold talks with Chris Lucketti, Keith Gillespie, Derek Geary, Paddy Kenny, Nick Montgomery, Chris Armstrong and both Quinns (Alan and Stephen) in the very near future.
"It would be quicker to tell you who I'm not going to hold talks with. All of them, barring Chris and Keith, are under contract.
"Agents and anyone else for that matter can huff and puff all they want but we are not going to start conducting our business in public."
