Does anyone know how Harry is, my concern was the way he went down it looked like he'd done his ligaments or something like that, don't really want to be without him for long.

It would be left back cover I'd worry about after Mr Hill s performance yesterday.

I thought Hill was superb personally, albeit better when he moved into the centre. If Maguire is out I'd be happy with Brayford-Collins-Hill-Harris across the back four.
Fully agree with that, Hill for me is a centre back now he's lost his pace. Reads the game really well and if he got a new contract as cover for the centre backs I wouldn't mind to much. If he wants to continue his career as LB he should probably go down a league.

I agree and I've said in another thread that hill was flawless when he replaced Harry, but I still think the defence that started is stronger than the one that finished the game

From the kop, so not the greatest view of the incident as they were facing us, it looked like their bloke "raked" him rather than a twisting/turning sort of injury.

After the game, we was on the pitch with some kind of strapping/icepack on his left leg, just below the knee.

Personally, I reckon he damaged it when he whacked the ball into the Kop after their last corner of the first half, when he was off the field injured :-)

Thought Hill was excellent yesterday but would be concerned with a Collins-Hill partnership in anything other than an emergency due to lack of height and the proverbial dominant centre half, especially at third tier level.

Hill was a weak link at full back. Not so much his defending, but his distribution was dangerous!

I'm sure Collins and hill would be ok v Peterborough midweek, but with both Harris and Brayford looking to get forward, it might be worth sitting someone like Coady or McGinn in front of them to give some protection.

Again if Scougall, Flynn, murphy make up the rest of the midfield with Baxter playing off Paynter or Porter we have an extremely flexible line up but would need a bit of strength or protection for the centre back pairing

I agree, we'd need someone sitting to protect the backline. On the other hand Hill will stay deeper, unlike Maguire and Collins who enjoy the occasional gallop forward.

Well they can gallop all they want - we scored from Collins' canter and retreat followed by his square ball into the hooves of Harry's galloping stampede into the box....

Well indeed, yesterday was an example I was particularly thinking of. But if both full backs are likely to storm forward then it's probably no bad thing that Hill is a bit more conservative.

I cant believe im reading this ,Hill reads the game really well ? He was superb ? He had a mare in the first half and was so far behind the back 4 line it was unbelievable. I don't know where you were sat but he played the Fulham forward line on side time after time in the second half. He is good at attacking a player from behind and intercepting ,good attributes for a centre half but his concentration and positional sense is incredibly bad.
In our position he is good cover for centre back though if needed in an emergency.

I don't think I've seen him have a bad game at centre half. Admittedly I don't quite get to every game, but Hill strikes me as a more than capable deputy to Harry.

I'm quite happy with Hill in central defence. Maguire and Collins are far too slow together - at least Hill adds a bit more pace.
