whys that exactly? how else do you expect him to get the experience/fitness to play in the first team.

Looked good on tues night, went off at half time.

Watching the reserves the other night, it's evident that it isn't really a challenge for some of these lads. Sending them out to scrap in the lower leagues whilst monitoring them could make or break a player... and I think Horwood is definitely physically strong enough to make it but they need some experience.

I don't know how people can complain when these kids are sent out on loan... they want them to gain experience but you can't advocate putting them into a Premiership squad "just in case" they're good enough.

Like who?

:)

What on earth is the point of keeping him at the club? He has been out on loan 4 or 5 times and is nowhere near the 1st team.

Just get rid of him, it isnt fair to keep him here when he will never get a chance.

2 reserve teams are too much imo, we should stick with 1 and just get rid of all the players who arnt good enough.

I agree. He has been in the reserves for years and been going out on loan. Cant see him making it at United.

Manchester United fans said that about David Beckham when he went out on loan to Preston NE ;)

I hope he proves me wrong like. Unfortunately i cant see it happening:(

We have to trust the opinion of people who's profession it is to make these decisions and probably have more years of dealing with youth development than either you or I have spent on this planet.

David Beckham-----> Evan Horwood.

Deadwood, get rid of him.

A player is as good as his last performance.

I trust you didn't see that performance.

It's just come to me... you're the one advocating "giving the kids a chance" yet write players off as deadwood you've never seen play and claim some should be starting, again, you've never actually seen them play. How do you, in your infinite wisdom, decide which players should stay and go?

He' s been on loan to 5 clubs and is 20 years of age.

Will he ever play a game for us? no, its quite simple. Get rid.

Ive seen Law and Quinn plently of times and to be frank both are far more highly thought of by the club which shows as neither have been loaned out to chester. Thats why i advocate those 2.
