who says its not a loan with a view to permanent move, like ours with WBA supposedly was?

We'll be getting a decent loan fee and putting in the shop window.

Oh so we dont accept 600k for him but they can have him on loan instead.

because if he performs well we can possibly get more than 600k but on the other hand if he doesnt perform then we could end up with no sale so yeah

Well i would of taken the 600k and not taken the gamble coz by the end of the loan spell we might be lucky to get 100k for him. Dont forget the guy is 32 we will do well to get anywhere near our money back on him. Yes the loan deal could be worth abit but no where near the stupid amount we payed in the 1st place.

But if he doesnt perform we will get nowt, its silly. We should have took the 600k now and get rid of him now rather than waiting. As bladesman says its warnocks fault in the first place for buying him and paying a stupid price for him.

I think he would of been a decent signing if we hadnt payed so much and hadnt already signed akinbiyi. He was just a waiste of money and there is no way we will get that money back even if he does well at l**ds. Wouldnt say its all down to warnock but he did make the balls up of signing him in the 1st place.

When working to deadlines, deals go down fast. He just got caught working tow at the same time. We got promoted and the cash loss won't hurt us. Good leson all around.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Warnock had been after him for half a decade, the guy is suddenly available right in the middle of the Akin-badboy negotiations, and we sign an agreement. If Ade's deal fell through we'd have been probably all be glad to have had the Horse. Put it down to experience and move on.

haha dear me some of you must be Warnock's love children or something! The man paid over 1 million quid for a player who was:

A. Too old for that kind of money
B. Not good enough for that kind of money
C. Not better than what we already had
D. We didnt need him
E. When we did get him Warnock never played him.
F. Left him in the reserves on 12k a week

And now we reject 600k for a player we dont want and instead send him out on loan with no guarentee leeds will still want him after its finished?

Ok, no we dont need the money but still its a major FU. Im sorry buts it just Bad Management on Neils part.

All managers make mistakes.

Some fans would rather talk about them all day long rather than talking about promotions to the best league in the world.

A. - true
B. - based on what? Danny Webber for £1/2m? If that's the case then yeah, I reckon Warnock should just go out and buy 10 more Danny Webbers
C. - At the time wasn't Webber injured, Kabba woefully off form and Deane injured? Who did we have? Shipperley - that's it.
D. - See above
E. - Factually incorrect but I'll give you that one
F. - Should Warnock have played him for the sake of getting his money's worth?

Spot on sharpy.

It was a complete balls up but im just annoyed that we havnt sold him as soon as possible. Now he will decrease in value and it wouldnt surprise me to see him go for a 100k in january if that.

Hopefully if he "does well" for Leeds, we can demand our £1million or more in January.

Hopefully fingers crossed that happens. I just cant see it happening. lol

no tbh i cant see it happening either but i hope he does well there and settles down and then mr bates will after give us some money for him

"Due to the number of excellent strikers we have and the fact that Geoff has had limited opportunities since he came, he has moved to Elland Road as part of our ongoing plan to get him to full match fitness.

"By going to Leeds, he will get the opportunity to get some games under his belt, and we're hoping that he will bang a few goals in."

The Blades boss adds: "We hope that this move will help him return to full match fitness and after six months we will be able to make an informed judgement when he has had the chance to show that he is the player we believe he is."

Looks like he could still be part of our plans come christmas if he does well at l**ds. Cant see it happening im sure warnock will offload him quick smart after the loan deal.
