Well I see you are the type that gives people a chance in life . I will reserve judgement until I see him play. Everton wanted him to sign a new contract and he turned it down so lets see him on the grass before we judge him . I for one will support him and encourage the lad as I DO ALL BLADES PLAYERS .I f after a few matches he is poor then i will say so but please give him a chance . A new start could be just what he wants .No good listening to Everton fans they will be against him for walking away from a club who are finding it hard to attract players .

He's been at a far better level than Morrison or Rodwell were when we signed them.

The majority of his games at Everton were the 5 seasons from 16/17 to 20/21 until he picked up a knee injury that kept him out for most of 21/22 and then he struggled to get in the side last year.

During those 5 seasons Everton finished 7th, 8th, 8th, 12th, 10th under 4? different managers. Davies was in almost all the matchday squads and his starts(+subs) in those years were 18(+6), 20(+13), 10(+6), 23(+7), 17(+8) with. Last year he was still in most squads but only had 4 starts with 15 sub appearances.

He's been a solid premier league midfielder is still only 25 and we've got him on a free. He needed a change of scenery and I hope he does well
