If you’re sitting there contemplating starting another ‘Hecky out’ thread, think on, because you are showing a deep lack of understanding of why he is in the job in the first place.
Think back to when he was appointed, that weird press conference with Mr ‘I’m not a football guy’ tracksuit wanker laying out his job description.
He won’t be judged by performances on the pitch!

So the only thing he’s done wrong so far is to get us promoted 2 years before we are ready and cutting off the path to the first team for out academy players.
Since the Prince was gagged by Newcastle’s new owners Hecky is also taking on the media responsibilities of the Prince and Bettis.
If we were to be relegated this season, win the Championship next season and return to the PL richer and with the kids back from productive loans and worth some money then the club would see Heckys 5 years as a resounding success.
So maybe we should all calm down, see 17th this season as winning the league and relegation as being on track.
