Hopefully the blades squad can use this as extra motivation for the game v West Brom. To come this far, and not get a result against a quality Man City side is just as disappointing for the players, as it was for the fans.
The big occasion at a big location, with outstanding fan support should make the squad even more determined to put promotion to bed and out of sight for any other club. I realise that the result of Mondays game could end any lingering doubt for all supporters, but I still hope we get the right reaction from the squad for our next game against Albion.
